Oooh, shiny.

We're in the homestretch, people! On the seventh day of New York Fashion Week, showgoers opted for their shiniest garments, as we expected, from black skinny pants to long, collared coats in red, green and burgundy. Some fashion folks let this current trend take the outfit spotlight, while others piled on even more textures, prints and patterns. Whatever the wardrobe choice may be, it's obvious that such a subtle, shiny detail instantly adds a cool, polished effect to any look.

Adidas vs. Nike.

Plus, sporty brands were a street style hit, such as pairing a logo sweatshirt with high-heeled boots or wide-legged pants. We'd like to think the anticipation of Yeezy Season 5 show transpired a slew of dressed-up athleisure ensembles, or, perhaps, we're ready to chill out and relax after seven-plus days straight of shows.

Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2017 Runway Bag Collection

Categories:Other Brands

Introducing the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2017 Runway Bag Collection. As always, Marc Jacobs ended the New York Fashion Week, presenting his show at the Park Avenue Armory. The show was presented without any music, no grandiosity yet it was an amazing collection. Marc Jacobs’ collection was inspired by a documentary he watched few months ago, entitled “Hip-Hop Evolution“. Growing up in New York City, he was greatly influenced by the hip-hop culture, particularly from the 80s and 90s scene. This season’s bags are mostly in earth tone colors such as brown, camel, tan, beige and black. Bags are made of leather with basic styles like hobo, satchel, messenger, flap and shoulder bags. The brand’s latest accessories are perfect for streetwear, which was the main theme of the collection.

BEYONCÉ DEBUTS PETER DUNDAS'S NEW EPONYMOUS LINE AT THE 2017 GRAMMYS

Categories:Fashion

It turns out Beyoncé wasn't just wearing any old bejeweled naked maternity dress for her performance as a motherhood-celebrating fertility goddessduring the 2017 Grammy Awards. Former Roberto Cavalli (and, before that, Pucci) creative director Peter Dundas just revealed on Instagram that he had designed the gold number, in addition to the stunning red sequined gown she changed into later Sunday evening, for his brand-new eponymous line.

While we're not exactly surprised Dundas launched his own line, the details of what Dundas planned to do after leaving Cavalli last October had yet to be confirmed. Of course, as far as announcements go, you can't do much better than dressing a pregnant-with-twins Beyoncé for her first big appearance with a bump, now can you?

Few designers do sexy, show-stopping red-carpet glamour like Dundas, and we're pleased to know that we're going to keep seeing his work on the world's hottest celebrities — pregnant and non. There's no word yet as to when a full-fledged collection might materialize
